How to use Memory Box Orchard Tree Frame die/Monochromatic tag tutorial

Hello my friends,
As promised I am coming back to share with you detailed process of creating monochromatic tag/ornament using Memory Box dies.
I love those dies and purchased purposely huge amount of those during sales here and there (please do the same if you can). Big + of these dies - unique, detailed and very elegant design;" -" - it can cut only through one layer of paper (no chipboard), but it makes it more fun while layering those
Let get started on my project...
I was making a decorative Christmas tag for a swap (you can find more here). This tag I wanted to keep in white shades (monochromatic).... I saw a while ago several projects where ladies making 3D cards, layered, mix colored and so many more using Memory Box dies.... I wanted for sure to try something like that....
I started with die cutting several die cuts: frame, deer, swirls, etc in multiple quantities(see the video below)....
I took Orchard Tree Frame (OTF) as a base, added TH deer, another OTF, layer of snowflake swirls, OTF, embossed velum, OTF and that's the frame (later I sealed the back of 1st layer of OTF with layer of regular velum (adding some "snow" glitter inside for shaker effect).
That's how I achieved that foggy image of deer in the woods under snow
The rest was easy....
I started adding pre-cut swirls and layer those on the side of the frame. After I "dry fit" all parts I took floral bouquet apart and glittered all steams (using glossy accents and glitter).
Tip: some of the paper swirls are so delicate, that they can't hold the weight of glitter on it... I reinforced it on the back with glossy accents...
After all steams dried, I placed them back in desired order on the left bottom corner of my layered OTF

On the top of tag/ornament I adhered some lace and seam binding from NSK
Now it is time to place it on the tag
I needed to come up with decoration on the tag that can hold tag/ornament OTF in place. So I used second TH deer from TH Rein Deer Flight and more paper Memory Box swirls in the right bottom corner
and I embossed that deer s well

I would live it as is, but by the rules we had to use bling and layers on the project, so I added acrylic leaves and earring stud bling
On the top of the tag I used very small amount of glittered and reinforced Memory Box swirls
That way my main OTF tag/ornament can rest on the bottom substantial reindeer stopper and be gently hugged by the swirls on top

That way my partner will be able to use both tags separately or together
Now I needed to make a gift wrapping/bag for these tags. I used cellophane bag that I decorated with white paper frame & swirls (Memory Box) and some bling and few white flowers

For the closer I decided to use paper doily, lace bow and altered paper clip
It all looks just beautiful packages and decorated..... Great presentation & Gift!

Hope you enjoyed this post and will take a bit of your time to watch this speed up video of assembling process on this project!
Thank you so much for stopping by and spending some time with me!

Christmas Shabby Chic Tags with Envelopes

Hello my friends,
Today I would like to share with you one project that I finished for my partner Leticia in one on one "Shabby Christmas Tags" swap at "Gold Pro Loaded Envelope" Facebook Group We had to make super shabby layered tags with envelopes. I took Jumbo Prima Tags for the base and gathered supplies in three colors: pink, blue, white - I thought those would be very appropriate for Christmas.
I decided that I will be using Memory Box dies on this project
1st Tag was in pink/peach tones
I decided to use one of the Prima Armoire and have Christmas toys picking out of the draws effect

Adding laces and trims made this armoire look even more shabby....
And the most important secret was layered Christmas Tree ornament created using Memory Box dies

For the packaging I decided to use cellophane baggy decorated with die cut frame & snowflakes, flowers &bling of course color coordinated with the tag
2nd Tag was mad in blue/turquoise colors
I wanted to created a layered Xmas window effect with the scenery inside of it

I used multiple die cut in three different colors of snow flakes, layered those across the window
 glittered and blinged the details
 For a surprise I made an ornament/wall hanging/wreath
Layers of ribbons, floral sprays, flowers, ornaments made it all come together nicely

Tag & Ornament looks amazing together
Packaging is repeating the same style as the 1st tag

3rd Tag was made in a monochromatic white style and here I went all the way out (I will be doing detailed post on that project)
I made two tags in one: tag & ornament

And the packaging in the style of first two but in white

Here are my beautiful packaging (very proud of myself by the way)

And my the most beautiful tags
Thank you so much for following me and supporting my blog, YT and FB!
Tight hugs and kisses,
