I wanted to share with you a step by step instructions on one of my Christmas pop up cards.
Here it is...
Step 1. Take you scoring board and 8.5 by 11 inches paper ( you can use 12*12 inches paper as well)
Step 2. Cut your paper to 6 by 11 inches (6*12 inches for 12*12 sheet)
Step 3. Put metal ruler across your scoring board on 1 inch horizontal. Score vertical from the top to 1 inch ruler side on 4.5, 9 and 10 inches (score on 5 , 10, 11 inches)
Step 4. Put metal ruler across your scoring board on 5 inch horizontal. Score vertical from the bottom to 5 inch ruler side on 4.5, 9 and 10 inches (score on 5 , 10, 11 inches)
Step 5. Score on 5.5 inches (6 inches for 12*12 paper)from horizontal 1 inch to horizontal 5 inch
Step 6. Turn your cardstock vertically and score on 1 and 5 inch between 1 and 6.5 inches horizontal (1 and 7 inches for 12*12 paper)
Step 7. Using your X knife and cutting mat cut along those scored lines in Step 6.
Step 8. Start folding. First 1 inch score lines on both sides of the cardstock up; second 1 inch down;
third - the middle scoring up; and the last on both sides of the card up.
Step 9. Run your scoring tool on the folds again
Your card is done!
