Do you ever finding yourself asking the same question over and over again.... How in .... they did it?

Well, you are not along... I am one of those people who want to see with my own eyes and no written instructions can help (could be the language barrier)...

Any way...

About a year ago I started to chase Magnolia stamps. Love their cute little images. Than I found myself learning how to color with Copic markers... Still enjoying the educational process...

Once I came across Magnolia magazine. I was impressed by precise instructions on each project they printed there. People in Europe are willing to work hard for been published in that magazine. And I am telling you they deserve it. Creations and ideas are just breath taken...

So, I saw one fold up card and it was so nicely displayed, but I didn't even dear to think about making something like that, complex... My thought on that was "Maybe some day..."

Glad to say, this day came... and it's today.

I just love, love, love to make these EASEL CARDS...

The Green card was made for my mom's Birthday a nd was send out to Russia. Still didn't get there, so I didn't hear about it from my mom...
The lilac card was created as an example for my Ustream workshop.

Winter Angel

Hello there....
Thanksgiving just passed and we are looking into three wonderful weeks of Christmas preparations. Having all family together at home is such a blest! I enjoy it very much even we all are doing our own stuff... Hm! I am thinking, that I might need to use this moment for some help?!
Better get into the attic and get those Christmas lights down before it's too late...
Anyway...
I happened to be shopping at open house party of good friend on mine Adriana. It was her 11th anniversary with Creative Memories, and she desided to celebrate it this way. So I got a bunch of cool stuff from her.
Winter addition 12 by 12 inches papers caught my eye. Such a beautiful papers, gorgeous print. But unfortunately she had just 2 sets... So, here is my creation...
Winter Angel Kit

Love how this kit came out! The background paper makes all the difference.

Love this Gold Angel, what a pretty thing... Another important element are the mats for the pictures. The size of the printed mat is 6.5 by 4.5 inches, so you don't need to worry about cutting down your picture. I like to use eyelash yarns and tulles in my creations, just think its adding that extra funky look to it. Happened to have a jar of Recollections flowers with ice like sprinkles on it. And of course Spellbinders dies for tags and title frame.

The second page has more floral embellishments, some tulle, tag, and die cut journaling mat. But my favorite element here is cream paper lace done with the punch.

Nothing is Worth More…

Finally this set hit the shelves of my web store… Bright, simply beautiful, and unique by its nature it will touch the buds of your imagination. Inspiration came from Uniquely Unity Set from Archiver’s which I put together this summer and there is one for sale as well.

As you can see I went crazy with it… 3 beautiful cards were specially designed for this set

And for some reason, tags capturing my attention lately, so I included 3 gorgeous tags as well

The best part of this set is this cute mini book with 10 pages, 4 pockets and inserted pages. Embellishment is just beautiful: flowers, butterflies, tulle, ribbons. All elements of layered papers and decoration just fall together in one unique piece of art…

Boy Kit is here

Boy page was inspired by one author’s work which was very much alike. I found it quite some time ago online, printed the image and put it away for better times. I could not find the right paper and the most important thing – a right theme.
But everything moving and changing in this world… On one of the crops I found the striped paper, and it happened to be My Mind’s Eye Lost and Found collection… Now I knew where and what to look for… That is the first part of the story…
I was shooting the video for my web store Tips and Tricks page about creating a background with Tim Holtz distressed inks for the beginners using freezer paper and hair blow drier (It’s the letter part of the layout)… After creating the background and the tutorial video I realized that that piece of paper by itself is nothing, and I need to create something special with it…Here where two pieces of this story falls together… I remembered that great page I have seen such a long time ago…
And now here it is my creation...



I posted page on Scrapbook.com in my gallery, and surprisingly got such a wave of comments on it, so I decided to gather together those papers, which is very hard to find now, and put together a kit for you...



Boy kit made for creating one 12*12inch page layout in vintage style with single photo. A layered distressed and torn paper gives this layout antique and unforgiving esoteric look. Flowers, eyelash yarn, sparkly ribbon and dramatic black feather lighten this layout and blending the heavy tones of the paper with your sepia color picture, envelope with falling out letter from past times.

Very cute 5 ½*5 ½ mini album was created with white paper bags, decorated with beautiful Teresa Collins Chic Bebe Boy paper collection and some light embellishments like tulles, gems, blue rose’s and bungle of ribbons. I named it Memories because it’s very warm and cozy when you are holding it in your hands. You would want to keep your best memories in this beautiful mini album full of handmade touches. Because of the calendar in it you can collect and store your memorabilia by month, and you have 14 pages plus 4 insert pages and 4 pockets to do that. Each Month sheet glued as a mini pocket just in 4 corners, so you can slide in your picture under it.

You can turn it into your personal journaling or your dieting records tracker. If you are giving it as a gift to elders, you can use those rows to describe how much they are important to you (for example: weight – treasure you as never before, and height – my role model or super star).
