Altered Jar, Spool & Mixed Media Tag for Maggie's BD

Hello my friends
Today I am sharing video on three project that I created for Maggie's BD
Again, my apologies on not taking pictures of finished projects (I was in a rush to ship gifts to Maggie before my departure)
I love altering things that I can find around the house. This time I spiced a pennants jar (love those), because those are plastic = see through (which is very important in crafter's "organized" world);
Spool of lace and mixed media tag....

Please watch this video to see more details and hear my explanation on all technics.
Thank you very much for stopping by, have a good one!
Hugs, Natasha

This  is folded card with sliding decorated band around it.
I did record the process of putting together this card, with tips for the beginners on:
- how to use around the page punches,
- how to use distress inks
- how to cup out element out of the paper
- how to stamp message in exact location using stampamajig
- how to sparkle your paper
- mostly and truthfully how to fix my own mistakes.
Here are few pictures of finished project for you and the process video is below as always!

Thank you for sharing your time with me.

Vintage Shabby Chic BD gift for Vintagepapergrl

Hello everyone!
These are beautiful creations for a wonderful friend of mine, who I mat on YT several years ago. Her name is Stephanie. Wonderful person in and out. we just clicked. Her YT channel is Vintagepapergrl. She likes Vintage/Shabby Chic style and doing amazing job on her projects. Unfortunately lately  family took all her attantion and she is not crafting as much as she would like to.
So go and show her some love, just browsing around her older creations/videos.
Alright, for my YT  BFF I created few vintage looking items:

Lets take a look closer to each one of those...

1. First and always the card. Absolutely LOVE cardmaking and LOVE create those dimensional cards.
I used recycle chipboard for the base, papers by KSP "Easter Elegance, free digi image of Victorian lady and WOC flowers from my stash. It came out absolutely beautiful.

2. Altered picture cube that I picked up at the thrift shop. I gesso it first, added some crackle substance from Michael's or Hobby Lobby and finished it with off white paint added some sparkling glitter while paint was drying...
isn't it beautiful? let take a look closer..

well now that you have seen details and embellishments on the top, which were actually from my shop NSK, minus WOC flowers, but I have some other once.. now lets take a look on all 4 sides

Images of Victorian ladies you can find at my the most favorite digital shop KSP and the collection calls "Painted Ladies ATC Set" 1 & 2.
Oh cotton  trim is from NSK. And of course I stuffed some goodies inside for her..
Right, lets move on to the final altered project...
3. Altered Egg Carton. Amazingly but those are such a great gift presentation.. Love working with those.
Again I used off white paint and sprinkled some sparkle while waiting for paint to dry out..

well here I went to town on decoration: laces , flowers, pearls and Venice appliques (check my store basically). Love how it came out...
And some yummies inside for my sweet BFF

Very much hope you liked it Ladies and Gents! Hope it will give some of you some inspiration!
Have a wonderful time creating!
Hugs, Natasha
P.S videos, videos, videos for those who would like to see those creations in real time and hear my voice...

Altered Shabby Chic Box for my BFF

Well hello everyone!
It's been a while right?...
I have been working on one project for my American Sister... I missed her BD in May - didn't call or send a card, because got seek... But at the end of the month I realized that I missed it...
So, I am trying to catch up...
She is so sweet and likes girly stuff, so I decided to altered the box I had for a while for her and give it to her as my gift...

That is how it looks on outside. Very girly and Parishion. Lots of Lace, pearls & flowers.
Yey, it wouldn't be me if this creation wouldn't have something interesting in it. The top of the box was recreated into easel card. Tulle and cute bow on the dress form just adding extra shic to it.
Oh yes, it has a pull out drawer... The glossy shimmer you see here is plastic cover that I stamped with staze-on inks...
Here we go...Now you can see the componants much batter... Clear plastic cover & envelope & some interesting stuff right there in the drawer...
Lets take our time and take closer look at each element... Envelope has a card, yes, very standart thought prosses... Another type og dress form... Inside card lots of stamping (do not like my hand writing)... banner with her name, words of congratulations, signature of friend & on the left side I created a slide pockets for two tags... Stamped those away from both sides.... (watch the part 4 video on all supplies I used for this project)... Lets see what was inside that drawer...

The cutest mini album with silver chain wraped around (she loves silver).. And it folds in 4 different diractions (see the video)
And of course it would be too simple to stop right there... This drawer has a second bottom... And under it there is gift for my American Sister: purchased chain and handmade charm...
Hope you enjoyed it!
You always can take a look at the video recording of this project on my YouTube channel (mynashka) or one of the 4 parts right here in this post...

Have a wonderful day!
Hugs & Kisses, Natasha
