here is my last art journal page for our second day together....
As I said in part 4, our friendship got sealed by this moment and it deserves a special art page...
I found an images of girly bedroom and VS models. In the video you'll see the process of fitting girls into background and adding pillows and laptop...
But it wasn't enough in my opinion, so I used few stickers and speech bubbles
to scramble adorable sayings like:
It was so much fun to work on this page: artsy and so memorable....
Off to the next day... well which didn't start till..Hmmm! about noon! xo-xo-xo
Hello there...
Today I will be sharing several pages of my second day trip to Japan.
That was absolutely delightful day that started a bit later (we slept in). After having Russian breakfast that Irina cooked for us: pancakes, coffee so yummy!
The first thing we decided to open GIFTS... but first we couldn't just open the gifts w/o carrying on with our story, and pointing fingers on each other... LOL.
Because this trip was a "sabotage" against Phoebe, so she was the first to receive gifts from Irina.
And because Irina was the hostess she wanted to give her gifts to me as well.
OMG, all these DAISO yumminess... Thank you so much my dear friend!
Now... Phoebe was so anxious to gift back, because she dragged a whole suitcase with her full of supplies and gifts...
wow, a loads of ruffly FUN!
And because I was the last to arrive to our party, I was the lust to give gifts to my dear girls!
And I think we all were very pleased!!!!!!
Ok, I think it will be right time for my art journal page devoted to that moment

I love the saying that I found:
"They say that every person that comes into your life comes for a reason...
Well, I've got a few questions about that....." I just love the sarcasm of that phrase. The meaning of that phrase carries all the way through the whole day and actually into the night of our second day together and finding the reason of why we all got together and starting our sisterhood bond. Quiet strong feeling...
I knew that this trip will be very special, no I should say especially special and very meaningful even at the beginning: so many signs were showed to me and one of them was this image, that I stumbled upon at the magazine been at home
here three of us: Phoebe, me and Irina, exactly how we look in life... xo-xo-xo!
and next few flips that I added into my journal are as well very much related to our friendship moment
OK, enough of deep subjects, oh though I love meaningful things - makes my life so reacher and with a purpose, all though I already fulfill the call of nature by having a kid (next generation).
Alright moving on...
According my handwritten journal notes and video report, we got sick of sitting at home and went on our CRAFT SHOPPING sperry.
Local craft store was just delightful, more like american Jo-Anns. Lots of different things.
But main point of our trip on that rainy day was visit of DAISO. It was my 1st ever DAISO experience, and I think I did very well.
Well it is getting to be dinner by now... Well Phoebe treated us with a wonderful dinner at Genki Sushi.... Oh what fun it was!!!!!!!!! and sooooo yummy!
that was so much fun to taste all different dishes and of course I did record it.. and now put it into art junk journal
we even finished 26 plates and even had some room for the cake...
Been belly up full we had some time to craft. The easiest and the fastest project that we could come up with was shaker boxes... So we made few of those... Mine when as a gift to someone very special... LOL...
While crafting and chatting we wound up with long night girl to girl conversation which brings me back to the saying: "They say that every person that comes into your life comes for a reason..."
which brings me to the end of that part of my travelogue and opens the door for the next one...

Let's get going...
we finished with that page in previous part: on the left you see page that I was coloring while in the flight and you can see a napkin that was turned into pocket by adhering washi tape all the way on the bottom, where I can stick more pictures or memorabilia.
here I am squeezed into my upgraded sit with the nice view on the wing of the aircraft that was taking me all the way from LA through Vancouver to Tokyo, Japan. I used: airplain tickets, pictures, suitcase travel tag, my journal handwritten travelogue and lots of fun sayings about traveling. Adding travel related stickers and fun colorful gel pen writing, makes this page into adorable journal.
well, screen shots of our aircraft flight path makes this journal into true travelogue art junk journal and custom form on Japanese has story behind it (you are welcome to watch video about it)
handwritten note on original currency exchange form expressing my feelings and first impression of foreign land.
why not to use back of the form for a journaling spot? of course I will and even more... make it interactable using see through and framed picture elements. By attaching brochure that you have picked up along the way, you can mark your departure and arrival time and reciept just making it more precise.
how about little travel saying by Rudyard Kipling and hand written notes on first impressions...
that picture was taken on my arrival to JR Utsunomiya Station where I was stock, while awaiting for girls to pick me up. Yep, after 20 hours and thousands of miles traveling I got stranded in the middle of Japan (there is story about that in the video as well).
my sarcasm about that situation well represented on these pages
But all is well, that ends well and my first day of travelling came to an end: girls picked me up and brought home, fed and put to bed...
I even had a chance to upload my videos....

Hello there, how are you doing today? Hope everything is going well..
Today I am bringing you 1st day of my travels to Japan (in two parts). That day started very early and ended very late evening on the next day... Yey, you heard me right, NEXT DAY... I was traveling for two solid days... OMG!
You will ask me how in the world it is possible? The answer is very simple - when you are travelling east you are loosing one calendar day. LOL, got ya! In all my travel time was somewhat around 20-24 hours, which is pretty normal when you are traveling from one continent to another.
Luckily for me I collected enough of "junk" to put together, almost 7 pages. Woo-hoo! More junk!
Well, I happened to make several art journal pages before this trip even took place in anticipation of amazing journey.
But before I will share those with you, I would like to mention that Day 1 of my "Travelogue Art Junk Journal" was split into two parts (for time saving purpose, knowing that people don't have so much of free time on their hands to watch long videos).
On that note, I have a question on "style" of the video that I am recording. Would you like me to go over each day reading all notes and little saying while I am sharing the story of my trip or you would like to see a speed up video of process with pictures and subtitles along the way?

OK, lets get crackalacking and start with Day 1, part 1.
As I said I had few art pages done way before the trip. My inspiration for art/junk journaling are several YT channels: PackerDi, Dede Willingham, Shannon Green, Sugar.
Here is my first art journal page
I used LV suitcases image and huge diamante watch from magazine cutouts and mixed frase "The Fit List" all highlighted with black marker. After I added a little printed saying by Susan Heller about travelling and Oh, boy! is it so true.... "When preparing to travel, lay out all your clothes and all your money. Then take half the clothes and twice the money." Just love how this page came out.
Second art page is a two pages spread: "East meets West" & "Summer destination". That shabby outdoors few is just amazing
On first part of it I added Chinese bride (I know.... I couldn't find anything Japanese at that point) and sprinkle diamonds around the page... Any girl, Russian, American, Chinese or Japanese, would LOVE some diamonds...
and "Summer Destination" frase was so appropriate for upcoming trip.
Just love art journaling!!!!!!! Now it is time to JUNK it all out!

Guess what I was crafting this past Sunday till ok, ok again 2:00 AM. I know I know.. Should not stay up so late, but I so wanted to finish it...
Alright.. there is a story behind it, as always..
I was watching YT - trying to catch up and visit as many of channels as I possibly can while I am some what open and feeling well. Because last year while starting my store on Zibbet - NSK I really was so consumed by it ( because I am a VERY slow learner), so I just canceled my social life, cut hours and hours from my family time, didn't craft at all and of course wasn't active on YT...
My apologies to a wonderful YT community - I was truly missing you all.
So that's why I am trying to get back on track with been active, because my store should be hm not secondary but at list parallel to my life.
Ok I was watching Patrizia's videos (Pat. S on YT) and stumbled on one challenge.... I am trying not to attend those, because I might not be on time and I do not like to be late. But this one was different and it just caught my eye. I really like to help people out as much as possible, and that one needed some boost as far as I can tell (hey do not judge!!!)..
Lady who is hosting this challenge is Irene (seriouslyscrapping on YT) and she is celebrating 450+ subscribers on her channel by doing this challenge and trying to earn more subbies... The rules were very simple and I jumped in...
Here are my creations for Irene's 450+ Subbie Challenge Giveaway
I created Art Journal page and a tag in her favorite colors - soft purple.
I will walk you through each project individually.
Art Journal Page
I used this beautiful image that I found online in soft purple. Adjusted intensity of color and ruffed edges through Adobe Photoshop.
Step 1
Print selected image on old dictionary paper.
Step 2 which I recommend to do the last (as we do things we learn)
Cover your page using soft foam brush with any kind of varnish. I had in my possession Satin Varnish by Liquitex that I picked up on sale at Jo-Anns.
Step 3
Use any stencil that you have at home to create texture with any sort of modeling paste. You can see which products I was using. Tip: Modeling past comes in white. You can color it, so it will match your project. On coloring pasts you can use any paints or sprays or alcohol inks or inks that you have at home. Put a little of your color on crafting mat or pallet and add small amount of past - mix it together till desired tone.Hey, add some sparkle by adding glitter as well.. Why not?
Step 4
Use your sprays (TA or LSG or homemade) and just spritz on top of the page and lift it up letting liquid to flow down the page creating interesting lines. Just play with it.
Step 5
Add some Flower Soft following printed image. In this case I decided to add a texture to flowers in her basket and around her in the garden using different colors of Flower Soft. Tip: Select one color of FS, apply a little bit of glue on those sections of the print that will be that color. While glue is still wet sprinkle FS on it and press. Shake excess of FS on a piece of paper or I am using coffee filter and carefully put it back into FS jar. Work in smaller sections so the glue will stay tacky while you applying FS. Repeat this process with other color of FS.
Step 6
Do random stamping on the edges or even on the page itself if you see any naked to your eye spots. Use Rub -Ons or stickers or your own hand writing to finish the page.
And second project for this challenge. Altered Tag.
That was simple enough, just print image on the tag and start embellishing it. I used:
