How to work with Large Molds Homemade Decoupage Tutorial

Hello, my friends!
Long time no see...
Today I would like to share with you absolutely adorable project an Easter Bunny made with the help of XL mold... Yes, I managed to come up with a brilliant idea on how finally reasonably use those L and XL rediculous molds.
Whoever designed those forgot to mention to us crafters that we need to own our own factory producing resin mixes or clay... and even if we can put all our coupons together and get a reasonable price on a big chunk of air clay... did they think of how much the figure will weight???
Yep, those L and XL molds can be used only for liquid gold - chocolate or pastries... No way we, paper crafters can use those...
Well, NatashascrapbooKorner to the rescue...
Yes, we can and I can prove it!
Do not let those Large and XL molds intimidate you…
You do not have to use fancy or very expensive clays or resin mixes to make that work for you.
The old and very simple trick will do an absolutely amazing job for you and you will be able to enjoy crafting again no matter what tricks those craft supplies might through at you...

The answer to our prayers is old and forgotten by many DECOUPAGE.
Yes, that way you are saving your precious pennies for shopping at our shop for example.

Ok, I can hear skeptics already: Do you know how much are they charging for a jar of glue at the store, forget the decoupage mixes...
No worries, I got you covered! Everything you need you have at home already...

Layered Beaded Ribbon Lace Seam binding Tailed DIY Bow Tutorial

Hello, my friends,
Today I would like to share with you a step by step tutorial on how to make layered beaded ribbon/seam binding/lace tailed bow
Something like that...
Step 1. 18-inch ribbon (in this case seam binding); face ribbon wrong side up
Step  2. fold tails of ribbon on itself 4inch from both ends; crease

Step 3. mark 1.5 inches from the edge (do for both ends); sew or glue on the mark

Step 4. left the end of the folded ribbon fold on the mark of 3 inches from the edge

Step 5. fold the right side of folded ribbon away from you (about on 3-inch mark from the edge); your ribbon should be folded in a Z fold

Step 6. while holding layers in the center spread loops in all directions, like a star; secure layers by sewing or gluing; be sure tails of the ribbon will be on the same side

Step 7.  take about 8 inches of beaded string; fold it in half and cross into “breast cancer” loop; glue to the #6
Step 8. take complimentary material  about 10 inches (it can be lace, another shade of ribbon, sequin trim or all together); tie a simple bow with the same length of tails as at #6; glue on top of #7
Step 9. choose your final centerpiece; adhere to #8
 Enjoy the final product...

Hope you like this tutorial and will visit our shop for the following items that was used in this project:
1. Seam -binding
2. Cotton Lace
3. Pearl trim
4. Sequin trim

Recycled Seam Binding/Ribbon Dispenser Box

Hello my friends
I want to share with you my last project..
Funny how this one happens to be..
I was packaging 25 yds of seam binding for an order ... well it's allot...
My dilemma was how to package it nicely, so customer could use it right the way..
I hear allot of comments right now: tag, spool, plastic bag.... Thank you so much for your wonderful input...
I decided to take a bit different rout - alter a box

how simple that could be... mostly that type of box has an opening on the back where you can feed ribbon through, so this box becomes a dispenser as well as storage..
I looked through my digital collection from KSP and the rest is a history...
Mean while I recorded the whole journey, so you can see how it all came about...

Have a good one, see you next time!
